The Ennis Electric team was proud to support Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center on the opening of its new barn!
The grand opening event was on September 17 and featured Scott Kirby and his band who played late into the evening for the 400 guests in attendance. The event raised an estimated $87,000 to benefit Rainbow.
Rainbow provides equine-assisted therapy to individuals facing physical, educational, emotional and intellectual challenges, and more. The nonprofit’s programs combine horseback riding with activities that are customized to help each individual rider meet their educational and developmental goals.
The new 11 stall state of the art barn is located at the organization’s Haymarket, Va. center. The new facility will allow the organization to provide therapeutic riding and equine assisted therapy programs year-round to its 105 regular students and the many visiting students from schools and community partners.
Ennis Electric is a long-time sponsor of Rainbow and CEO Kevin Cole spoke at the ribbon-cutting event. Congratulations to Rainbow on this exciting milestone!
