A letter to the Ennis Electric family:

When a family is as large as ours, it is inevitable that we will suffer loss—but that doesn’t make each and every loss any less meaningful. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Travis Hooker, who passed away late Wednesday night. Travis worked with us here at Ennis Electric on and off throughout the years. His brother, Dave, is still a valued member of our team.

We always say that once a person is a member of our Ennis Electric family, they remain a part of our family. The bonds we form are not ones we forget. While Travis wasn’t working with our company at the time of his passing, we still mourn the infectiously happy young man we all knew and cared for.

Travis enjoyed all things in life, especially the outdoors and could often be found golfing, boating and fishing—or at a NASCAR race. His loved ones speak of the huge heart he had for his family and friends. This loving spirit is one we couldn’t help but notice and appreciate here at Ennis Electric as well.

His family invites friends, coworkers and loved ones to say goodbye to Travis at the viewing on Monday, July 13 at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg. His service will be at noon on Tuesday, July 18. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

We’re taking this time to remember the talented electrician who is no longer with us, and to send our thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones. You will be missed.
